2.  Story- The Blanket
3.  Read the story.  Answer the questions given.  
4.  Literary terms sheet- go through and find examples of all the underlined terms in the story "The Blanket".  For the rest of the terms you can use examples from movies/other books/stories.
5. Start on Writing assignment for "The Blanket"
6. For Monday should have at least half the questions done, half the Literary terms examples.
7.  More time will be given on Monday.​

3. Review of course outline and evaluation
4. Enrichment proposals and explanation(everyone must do one- if finished you must work on enrichment proposal work)
5.  Rubrics for The Blanket questions and The Blanket writing assignment
6. Time to work on The Blanket questions, literary terms assignment and The Blanket writing assignment.  Questions and literary terms- due Tuesday for discussion  Writing assignment due on Wednesday
7. Work on this until the end of class or enrichment projects if completed everything.

-using the video links and the information links below you must complete the Residential Schools Assignment

4. Work on finishing Reflection #8 and any other missing work
5. Watch Indian Horse movie (Free on CBC gem online if you miss class)
6. As you watch look for differences between the movie and the book- create a t-chart- label one column-Differences  Label the other column- Does this make the movie better or worse and why?  Fill in the t-chart.

3. Work on finishing paragraph rough copy and editing sheets and any other missing work.
4. Poetic terms- review and practice- try thinking of examples of the different terms to help learn them

​2.  Work on literature circle preparation sheets and other missing work.
3. Using the poetic terms sheet create a game that you can play to learn the terms.  This could be something like a flashcard game, or a crossword puzzle.  You could also create a version of a board game.  You must create written instructions for your game and answers for questions you have, or a way for people to check if they are right when playing.  It can be a game for individuals, partners, or groups of up to 8 people.  It could also be a class game if you want.
4. Types of poetry- Using the sheet on types of poetry try writing examples of the different types.
